Hospitality Attendant

Do you love to serve? Are you energized by helping ministry happen behind the scenes and working on a team? We are looking for an energetic individual to join the Hospitality team at CLA. This is part time position, with more full time summer hours (June, July August ).   Some of the responsibilities include general housekeeping, event setup, security of the building and as required ministry/customer support. We are looking for an individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team, and balance multiple set ups and tasks. Good communication, time management and problem solving skills are an asset. Candidates must be physically fit and able to lift 40 lbs.; These shifts are varying between Monday – Sunday, 7am – 3pm or 3pm – 11pm.

Controller 

Christian Life Assembly is looking for a Controller to provide leadership for all accounting aspects of the church. Reporting to the Lead Pastor, this position will be responsible for the oversight of the accounting & finance team, all accounting functions including month end financial statement preparation, internal and external reporting, internal controls and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a professional accounting designation or equivalent amount of experience or education.

Kitchen and Café Manager

CLA is looking for a Kitchen and Café manager to provide leadership and oversight of all catering and Food services at the Langley Campus of the church.  This position will accomplish its mandate through team ministry and volunteers. It is essential the person have skills in recruitment, team dynamics and organization of the facilities. As ordering and planning is part of the expectation, financial experience is needed.  The ability to administrate and manage the Kitchen, Café and people are essential. Experience in the food industry and food safe certification is required.

This position is part time (20-25hrs/wk) and will be based at the CLA Langley Campus. Wage will be established based on experience.  Click Here for full position description.
