Bakur & Julia Azarian
Bakur was born in Armenia and was a university student in Moscow when he received the Lord. He soon became involved in evangelism and traveled extensively with an outreach group. Julia was born in Moscow and was the secretary at the Russian Assemblies of God office until they married. Bakur and Julia have two children.

Sergio & Nancy Bersaglio
In 1995, Sergio and Nancy Bersaglio took their family on a holiday to Africa. At the time, Sergio was a project manager for a general contractor and Nancy was a realtor in the Vancouver area. But God saw compassionate, willing hearts ready to follow His call to long-term missions. The Bersaglio's now are the Directors of Village of Hope - Zambia, using their skills and giftings to bring hope and healing to many Zambian children and families.  Sergio and Nancy have two children:  Brock and Lauren.

David & Enala Chibale

In 1993, he returned to TTC as a teacher for four years, and during that time also helped to pioneer the vision of the Village of Hope for vulnerable children in Zambia.

Murray & Cindy Cornelius
(Assistant Superintendent for International Missions - PAOC)
Murray and Cindy and family have returned to Canada from ministering in Africa, specifically Zimbabwe for 19 years.  His past experience as the Regional Director of Southern Africa, his intimate knowledge of missionary life and passion for lost people wherever they are, greatly enriches the service that the International Misisons Department offers to its misisonaries.  In addition, Murray's strong leadership and pastoral heart will assist the International Missions Department to work in partnerships with churches across Canada.  Murray and Cindy have two children:  Jared and Jason.

Nancy Cucheran
Nancy has felt a burning passion for the nations and a call to missions since her early teens. Throughout her life, her heart's focus has been a determined effort to be a tool in God's hands to proclaim the Name of Jesus. Nancy is passionate about mentoring, and discipling young adults and has been given the unique opportunity to speak into the lives of young national leaders through conferences and personal mentoring.

Ross & Ellen Errington
Ross and Ellen have served with Wycliffe since 1972, first with the Cotabato Manobo language project in the Southern Philippines where they completed a New Testament translation in 1989. Since then they have continued to work part time with the Manobo people to translate portions of the Old Testament.

Marg Foreman
Marg served with her late husband, Garry, for many years in PAOC missions...Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe. For 7 years she has was the Missions Coordinator here at Christian Life Assembly, Langley, BC. While fulfilled and content (mostly) during these years of doing missions from the Canadian side, the burden and passion for Africa has never been very far below the surface. Trips to Africa with teams and frequent interaction with missionary and national leaders have only intensified the longing to return. In 2006 Marg responded to the call of God to return to Africa on a full time basis as Administrative Assistant to the PAOC Africa Regional Director in Nairobi, Kenya.

Danny & Ranette Foster
Danny & Ranette firmly believe that the Gospel message is for everyone and that God speaks every language on Earth. They also believe that no one should have to learn another language to receive a message which was intended specifically for them, especially when the message is a matter of life and death!

Ian & Judith Green Director, Next Level International
Ian has a passionate heart to see the Kingdom of Jesus rapidly advanced in Europe and beyond. He travels widely as an international speaker, challenging today's church to get involved in missions around the world.

Wayne & Ann Hilsden
Wayne is the Senior Pastor of King of Kings Community - a Messianic congregation situated in the heart of Jerusalem.  He gives general oversight and direction to the vision and operation of the church.  The vision of King of Kings Community is to be a compelling, Messiah-centered, Spirit-empowered, disciple-making community that reveals the true face of Yeshua (Jesus) to Israel and to the nations.

Darik & Monika Klimczak
Darik & Monika are natives of Kudova, Poland where they lived for many years. A few years ago they moved to France to pursue employment but then returned to Kudova because of a strong burden from the Lord to plant a church in their home city.  There is tremendous opportunity for evangelism and a real sense that God wants to use this community as a place to disperse the gospel to Poland.  Darek and Monika have two children:  Claudia and Camilla.

Bill & Linda Mercer
Bill and Linda Mercer have been PAOC missionary for more than 30 years, first in Brazil and since 1985, in Mozambique. Their assigned task was to establish a Portuguese language Bible College in the capital city of Maputo. Hundreds have graduated from this college and are in ministry today.

Alexander and Helena were born in Ukraine. Alexander travelled extensively all over the former CIS preaching and evangelizing before God called him to plant Immanuel Church in the heart of Moscow. Helena graduated from Bible School in England. They have two children, Roman and Kristina.

Joel Reimer
Love for God and a desire to reach people for Christ are the two passions of Joel's life! He attended YWAM in the Virgin Islands, and then went to Bible School in Thailand. As part of his education he was required to spend extended time planting a church and applying the things he had learned. He chose to cross the Thai border into Cambodia and spent a year discipling new believers there.

Nadine Reimer
Nadine became a Christian as a child but it wasn't until the age of 16 that she made a personal commitment to really know the Lord for herself. She went to YWAM in Australia wanting to learn to know God... and came back with a passion to see the nations transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She soon returned to the Perth base to serve in different roles... discipleship training, kitchen management and most recently, health care ministry.

Brian & Val Rutten
After 9 years in Zambia, PAOC missionary Brian & Valerie Rutten, knew that God was calling them to Ethiopia. For the past 14 years they have been part of the incredible revival in that nation. Their vision has been to develop leadership and discipleship training ministries as they equip the Ethiopian church to reach across their nation and beyond.

Remi & Tjandra Van Wermeskerken
Remi & Tjandra have been serving with Missionary Aviation Fellowship for many years, mostly in SE Asia. Remi is a pilot, aircraft maintenance mechanic and email administrator. Tjandra ministers as a Bible College teacher, translator and pastor. After the Tsunami in 2004, Remi spent 3 months in Banda Aceh, Indonesia coordinating helicoptor rescue flights and relief operations.

Restricted Access Nations Personnel

Restricted Access Nations are places that are still closed to the gospel. CLA is blessed to partner with and support some of the missionaries located in these nations around the world.  Although we cannot tell you their names or where they are located, the ministry that these missionaries are involved in is critical to the furtherance of the gospel in these nations that are closed to the traditional ‘missionary' role.

The generous giving of God's faithful stewards plays a significant part in this world harvest.  Please pray for these personnel who are willing to serve under restricted and sometimes dangerous circumstances.
