Blanket Drive
We at Acts of Kindness along with the Monday Night Homeless Cafe, have initiated a blanket drive. During the Months of October, November and December we will be collecting CLEAN blankets to be given to our homeless friends on monday nights. Please bring blankets to the Missions Kiosk on Sunday's or to the Acts of Kindness office throughout the week. Thank you all for your prayers and your help of those the Lord has called us to serve.
Monday Night Homeless Cafe
Every Monday night right here in CLA Cafe over 50 Homeless are fed and served the specialty coffee of their choice. Thanks to to wonderful team of volunteers, many whom are apart of our greater church body, come here to serve our homeless friends from the near-by area. This is a wonderful hands on ministry who's goal is to share the love of Christ through a hot meal and a friendly conversation. Each monday a meal and coffee is served but the focus is that of relationship, the belief that this is a key way to reach those that are lost. If you would like to be a part of this ministry please contact Philip Fassbender in the Acts of Kindness Department.

Winter 2008
Thank you CLA congregation!! Due to the overwhelming support from you, we almost double what we donated last year. We handed out 100 backpacks to people in the church, who then filled them with many necessties to help those that are on the street survive a winter. We would like to extend much gratitude to the many generous financial donations that were made. Due to the financial support we were able to top up all backpacks with the optional items that were listed.
