ABOUT INTERNS

THE STRATEGY

Revolution Interns is a one year discipleship and ministry training program providing valuable instruction in the Word of God, life changing times in the presence of God in our daily prayer times, as well as the opportunity to participate in various ministry links and service opportunities.  Mentorship is a big part of this experience. You will be mentored and have opportunity to mentor others. You will also participate in a local ministry trip as well as an international mission’s experience.

COURSEWORK

Throughout the year you will receive instruction in various themes. Some of these will carry through the entire semester and others will be subjects covered in modular format by various pastors, missionaries, and teachers.  Core classes are indicated by a “*” and the number of credits the course is worth is located in () beside the course title. Some of the themes will include:*Basic Doctrine 1(3) *Basic Doctrine 2(3) *Old Testament Survey(2) *New Testament Survey(2) Roots of Character And More!

CREDIT COURSES

The four core classes indicated above offered at Revolution Interns are through CLTI (Church Leadership Training Institute), the extension-school of Portland Bible College. PBC has been granted exempt status by the state of Oregon to be able to offer religious degrees. These credits may be transferable for Interns desiring to further their education. Transcripts and further inquiries on courses or coursework can be made directly with the CLTI office in Portland, Oregon (503) 255-3540. If these courses are completed with reasonable grades there is the opportunity to transfer them to local colleges toward a degree program for those who would like to continue towards further education.  The courses themselves are included in Revolution Interns, however for those who would like to receive credit and a certificate of completion for any of the courses must pay a small registration fee for each course and fill out a short application form for CLTI. More details on this are available on the application page.

HOUSING

If you are from out of town or require some suggestions or assistance in securing accommodation please contact us and we will see what we can do to help you!

TRANSPORTATION

Although it is not a requirement of the program that you have a vehicle, it will be of great benefit to you if you have your own means of transportation. As you will be ministering at local schools and at times all of our campuses it will be helpful to you to have a reliable mode of transportation. Carpooling will also be an option that can be explored.
