Villages of Hope Africa provides food, education and healthcare to vulnerable children and children’s homes for orphans. Their mission is to bring lasting hope to children at risk so they can embrace adulthood as independent and contributing members of society. The first Village of Hope opened in Kitwe, Zambia in 1999 and presently there are seven locations in five countries: (Bujumbura) Burundi, (Kisumu) Kenya, (Lilongwe) Malawi, (Kitwe, Mongu and Chongwe) Zambia and (Harare) Zimbabwe. Christian Life Assembly partners with the Village of Hope specifically in Zambia. Alongside the Village of Hope, Christian Life Assembly partners with several local churches to send out Boxes of Love. The boxes are also sent out to the surrounding villages.
