Sergio & Nancy Bersaglio - Zambia

The Bersaglio's oversee the Villages of Hope – Africa Society and are the directors of Village of Hope - Zambia. Today, in the three Zambian Villages of Hope there are over 1200 children being cared for, 175 of those live in homes at the Villages and the rest are from the surrounding communities and attend school and participate in the feeding program each day. Villages of Hope Africa provides food, education and healthcare to vulnerable children and children’s homes for orphans. Their mission is to bring lasting hope to children at risk so they can embrace adulthood as independent and contributing members of society. The first Village of Hope opened in Kitwe, Zambia in 1999 and presently there are seven locations in five countries: (Bujumbura) Burundi, (Kisumu) Kenya, (Lilongwe) Malawi, (Kitwe, Mongu and Chongwe) Zambia and (Harare) Zimbabwe. Christian Life Assembly partners with the Village of Hope specifically in Zambia. Alongside the Village of Hope, Christian Life Assembly partners with several local churches to send out Boxes of Love. The boxes are also sent out to the surrounding villages. Yohannas & Cara Yadagne - Ethiopia

In a country where there is high poverty and unemployment, Yohannes and Cara speak hope into the lives of at-risk children and youth. Yohannes is a licensed soccer coach and through the use of sports and education shares the hope of the gospel. Cara shares hope among the most needy girls and women of Ethiopia, including refugees from neighbouring countries.

Jeremy & Teresa Feller – Ethiopia

Ethiopia is a land of phenomenal church growth. In the last several years the church has experienced explosive growth after coming out from under communist rule. Though persecution is a serious challenge, the church of Christ continues to push against the forces of darkness. The gospel continues to open new people groups and areas to the light of Christ. To meet the demands springing from this growth, Jeremy works in teaching and leadership development. With the great move of church planting there is a desperate need for new local church leadership. He is traveling to various regions to give local church based training. Teresa works in teaching music and working with youth in an English church in Addis. She also teaches English in the church and in the community.

Brian & Val Rutten - Ethiopia

PAOC missionaries, Brian & Valerie Rutten, were called to Ethiopia in 1992. Since then they have been part of this incredible revival. Brian gives overall leadership to the work: teaching, preaching, training leaders, disciplining new converts and raising up church planters who are reaching all across North Africa. Val coordinates the ChildCARE Plus program caring for more than 1500 homeless children and teaches at the Bible College.
