FollowingGod isn’t about striving.  It’s about trusting God more.  In this 7-session video-based study, you will be encouraged to let go of striving and learn to trust God’s character, His comfort and even His correction. As you study the Book of Isaiah, from the prophets’ challenges to the nation of Israel to the prophecies of the Messiah, you’ll see that you can trust God more than your own human effort or the counterfeits the world suggests.

Does the Fall season seem like the perfect time to establish spiritual disciplines that will help you grow and nurture your walk with God in the coming year? What does it look like to develop good Bible Study skills, or what is the importance of a disciplined prayer life? Join Kelly Minter in this7-session video-based Bible study as she unpacks the biblical foundation for these sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, Bible study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Instead of being just one more thing on your to-do list, you’ll find that these habits of faith can actually create more margin in your life—providing peace and rest as you walk closer with Jesus.  Whether you are new in your faith or committed to growing closer to God this coming year – this series will strengthen and deepen your walk with Him.

facilitated by Rita Thiessen (this is a free class but class size is limited)

Are you excited to freshen up your hospitality and cooking skills? Join us each week as we have fun in the kitchen, watching demonstrations and going through easy and practical dishes for you to prepare for family and friends that will up your culinary game and gain confidence in our calling to Biblical hospitality.  Jesus loved food!  Many times, during his time on Earth, Jesus disciples, taught, and loved people around a table.  We will also take a look at women of the bible who used their gifts and talents to faithfully serve God and others.

Facilitated by Marilyn Mahoney / $22 / Book included

In this video Bible study, Geri Scazzero provides you a way out of an inauthentic, superficial spirituality to genuine freedom in Christ. This study is for every woman who thinks, “I can’t keep pretending everything is fine!”

The journey to emotional health begins by quitting. Geri quit being afraid of what others think. She quit lying. She quit denying her anger and sadness. She quit living someone else’s life. When you quit those things that are damaging to your soul or the souls of others, you are freed up to choose other ways of being and relating that are rooted in love and lead to life.

When you quit for the right reasons, at the right time, and in the right way, you’re on the path not only to emotional health, but also to the true purpose of your life.

M IS FOR MAMA – Abbie Halberstadt

Led by Lauren Carrasco and Rachel Lefebvre / $20 / Book included

Are you a mom who is looking for advice, encouragement, wisdom and scripturally sound strategies to help you as you embrace the challenges of motherhood? In this study, that is seasoned with humour and grace, you will learn to apply Biblical love and wisdom in raising your children.  As you gather with other moms who are walking through the joys and challenges of parenting, you will learn Biblical principles that will equip you to buck the popular trends of “mediocre motherhood”, help you embrace the challenges with wisdom, and see the rewards of Christ like motherhood.

NOT ALONE – Jennie Allen

Facilitated by Heather Subrata and Debbie Boganus (this is a free study and perfect for those who can always attend regularly)

We were created for community. And because our Father is generous, he’s given us one of the most essential, fun, and life-changing relationships for community: friendship.

In the six-week study Not Alone, we’re going to talk all about friendship: why we need friendship, biblical examples of friendship, and the pitfalls, challenges, and joys of friendship. We’re going there–talking about toxic relationships and boundaries, and how to rebuild broken trust. But most of all, we are going to celebrate the encouragement, wisdom, fun, and love that can only come through friends.
