Missions is our local and international outreach.

It is central to CLA’s vision of fulfilling the command of Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Ways that we serve

Missions is simply that, a mission to show God's love to the world. Showing that love can look different in every culture and situation, and in every unique need. Some ways that we serve our local community and countries around the world is to:

  • Look after the poor, orphans, people in crisis, widows (James 1:27).
  • Help with the support of pastors and global workers at home and overseas.
  • Help train leaders and pastors to go into their own communities to win people to Christ through relationship (also supply Bibles, training courses, VBS programs from children, school supplies, etc.)
  • Help with capital projects including building orphan houses, classrooms, churches, renovations, and water projects.

CLA Homeland Missions

We stand on guard for Canada by serving our community, city and country reaching out to the poor, the needy, and the lost. We provide opportunities to volunteer in practical ways with events in our community, projects in our city and nation expressing the love of Jesus through our lives by caring for our neighbor and praying for the leaders of our country.

#cityserve

#cityserve is a part of Christian Life Assembly's homeland missions. Through cityserve we hope to share the love of Christ in our daily lives, by providing people with opportunities to serve & connect together. Visit us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

ESLC

English Studies for Life in Canada is an extension of our homeland missions. ESLC is a school for anyone who is looking to learn English for the first time or improve their knowledge of the English language while being a part of a community. Check out the ESLC page for more information.

Restricted Access Nations

CLA is reaching restricted access nations with global workers who serve as professionals and share their faith using marketplace strategies that are appropriate to the environment in which they live. We currently are committed to and come alongside five families who share their faith in some of the world’s most spiritually dark and needy locations.
