Word From The Pastor

Renewed Hearts. Restored Lives.

Transformation is the process of deep, lasting change that begins in the heart and flows into every area of life. In the life of a believer, transformation is the work God does within us as we surrender to Him, allowing His truth, grace, and Spirit to renew our minds and shape our character. It is not simply behaviour modification; it is spiritual renewal that aligns our hearts with God’s will and helps us grow into the people He created us to be. Transformation moves us from simply believing in Jesus to becoming disciples who live in the freedom, purpose, and life He promises.

Each one of us is on a journey through life. Along the way, we experience moments of joy and seasons of sorrow. There are triumphs, and there are struggles—heartache, insecurities, suffering, and sometimes the quiet fear of failure. Yet in the midst of it all, there remains a deep longing within us to depend on God, trust Him more fully, and live the life He has called us to live.

No one is immune to these experiences. That is why the prayer of David remains so meaningful for us today: “Point out anything in me that offends you and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” — Psalm 139:24. David humbly invited God to search his heart and reveal anything that might cause sorrow or separation. This prayer also refers to something born out of pain—the kind of pain that results from the effects of sin. David desired a clear conscience and a life aligned with God.

He also prayed:
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10

Together, these prayers remind us that when we invite God to examine our hearts and turn to Him in repentance, He brings renewal and transformation.

To create space for this kind of spiritual renewal, we are hosting Transformation Weekend on April 10–11—a time set aside to seek God, open our hearts to His work, and experience the life-changing power of His presence.

Following that weekend, we invite you to continue the journey through the Keys to Freedom Course - A Discipleship Journey to Live Free and Stay Free. Beginning Wednesday, April 15, at 7 PM in the East Chapel of Langley Campus. This eight-week course includes five engaging daily readings each week and explores hearing from God, renewing your mind, healing life’s hurts, choosing to forgive, breaking generational patterns, and walking in your authority in Christ. This is more than a study—it is an opportunity to encounter God deeply and walk in the freedom He desires for you.

If God is drawing you to a closer walk with Him, register for these two events online.
