Christian Life Assembly is seeking a passionate and organized CLA Kids Administrator to join our Family Life team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in administration, loves working with people, and has a heart for ministry. The CLA Kids Administrator helps ensure the smooth functioning of CLA Kids through volunteer coordination, database and financial management, and ministry support. Position Summary:
This role blends Human Resources and Administration (65%) with Spiritual Formation and Sunday Ministry Focus (35%).

Job Purpose:
The CLA Kids Administrator maintains the smooth functioning of CLA Kids’ database, volunteer processes, financial records, inter-departmental administration, and ministry outreach planning. Passion for ministry, creativity, and agility with programs, planning, and people are essential.

Ministry Overview:

  • Assist CLA Kids staff in setting up and executing Sunday Kids Church.
  • Oversee Sunday Morning Check-in systems and related volunteer teams.
  • Support CLA Kids Missions focus: offering projects, Missions month, and welcoming families from all nations.
  • Participate in Wednesday “Her Kids” program as needed.
  • Contribute to all special CLA Kids events (Boxes of Love, Family Feast, Volunteer Appreciation, Christmas Production, Kids Camp, Easter).
  • Attend weekly staff meetings, vision casting, and team development.
  • Organize and administrate applications for Child Dedications and Water Baptisms.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Family Life Pastor.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop systems for the smooth operation of CLA Kids.
  • Learn and train staff in ministry technology (PCO, SharePoint, workflows, etc.).
  • Oversee volunteer pipeline from applications through assignments.
  • Manage CLA Kids social media platforms and contribute content.
  • Liaise with the Communications Department regarding website and content.
  • Organize and synthesize SharePoint files for current and historical use.
  • General office administration.
  • Assist with Family Life department budget and oversee expense processing.
  • Foster cooperation across departments, especially in administrative supports.

  • Problem-solving and reasoning ability.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Planning Center, Slack, Asana, Zoom, and databases.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Reliability, accuracy, and interpersonal diplomacy.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in theology, education, or related field (or working toward one).
  • Minimum two (2) years related experience preferred.
  • Ministry credentials an asset but not required.
  • Minimum two (2) years administrative experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Leadership, supervisory, and budget experience an asset.
