Are you passionate about seeing a generation awakened to seek the face of God? Christian Life Assembly (CLA) is looking for a detail-oriented, relational, and spiritually grounded individual to join our Young Adults team (14hr / week). As the Ministry Assistant, you’ll support the Young Adult Pastor in planning, coordinating, and executing weekly programs and events that impact lives for eternity. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration
- Administrative duties related to the running of weekly YA programs and special events.
- Coordinate and communicate volunteer/team schedules.
- Coordinate and communicate with Communication, Worship, Facilities, and Tech Departments.
- Develop a working knowledge of church database system, Planning Center Online (PCO), including bookings, people profiles, registration of events and the management of revenues and expenses related to ministry.
- Perform related duties as required.
Ministry Events
- Develop a team of volunteers to work with to help execute all ministry events.
- Organize and communicate all recruitment, processing, training, scheduling, supervision, evaluation, correspondence, and appreciation of volunteers.
- Coordinate registration check-ins and food preparation as required.
- Interact and build relationships with all ministry participants.
- Assist pastor(s) and key leadership in planning and coordinating of events and activities.
- Record minutes of meetings, and communicate responsibilities arising from meetings.
- Ensure room(s) are set up as needed and requested.
- Perform related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Accurately type 55 wpm
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with systematic approach to accomplishing tasks
- General bookkeeping knowledge
- Proven ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, staff, and senior ministry leaders
- Ability to work within a team environment and independently with limited supervision
- Computer proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
- Tact, empathy, and diplomacy when dealing with others and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven problem solving and reasoning skills
- Ability to prioritize, schedule work accordingly, and supervise

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Diploma/Certificate or currently in Undergraduate program
- Experience: 3–5 years of related work experience
