Our desire is to equip and empower the whole family to reach the hearts of children.
Through child centred programming, pastoral care, and participation in CLA as a whole, children will grow in body, soul, mind, and spirit, but it all comes together with parental and caregiver guidance!
Age Groups.
Nursery
Your infants are checked in to either ‘Babies’ or ‘Walkers’ rooms in our nursery. We have dedicated leaders that love to care for and engage your infants so that you can relax and enjoy the service! But don’t worry, you are assigned a parental buzzer in case of any needs.
Preschool
Your children ages 2 - kindergarten are checked in to age specific classrooms to play together, snack together, worship, and learn age specific lessons to ensure a unique and immersive learning environment for your child.
Elementary
Children in grades 1-5 are checked into ‘Large Group’ for games, worship, and Bible stories and then separate grade by grade to their individual classrooms for ‘Small Group’ learning. This provides more age specific questions and application to the lesson learned in Large Group.
You check in your children at the Treehouse in the North Foyer. Our Nursery also has its own check in station.
My child has an allergy. What is the protocol for this?
Your child’s safety is of utmost importance! When you check your child in, there are fluorescent “ALLERGY ALERT” stickers to add to your child’s check in tag. Please also inform your child’s teacher and bring an allergy safe snack for them (age 2-Kindergarten).
How can I ensure my kids are safe?
All CLA kids volunteers and staff are required to complete our Plan to Protect course and a criminal record check prior to serving. When your child is checked in the parent and/or guardian receives a corresponding security tag required for pick up.
