Women's Trip | Guatemala November 2023
The Women's team will be heading down in November to serve the kids of Shadow and the community of Monjas. While there, the women will be helping host the Quinceñera (birthday party for the girls turning 15 this year), shopping for and presenting food baskets to the needy in the community as well as spending time ministering to the kids of Shadow.
The men will be heading down in November to serve James Project and the town of Monjas to do church ministry, connect with children and families, and take part in an important building project.
Every year Lighthouse Church raises funds for Camp Yukon by selling food and snacks at the annual Muskrat Jamboree in Inuvik, NWT. The team will participate in the church meetings and there is an option to take a dogsled ride (extra). This is an excellent opportunity to enable children and youth from the far flung communities of the North to attend Christian Camp Yukon.
